SUMMARY:Residential Zen Meditation Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Hello Everyone and Happy 2024! \nWe’re officially opening registration for the OMZ-wide residential retreat\, which takes place at the Franciscan Center in Tampa\, Florida April 25 – 28\, 2024. The Tampa Center is a beautiful location with grounds for walking and views of the water which has excellent retreat facilities which we have used several times before. \nCheck in will take place between 3 pm and 5 pm on Thursday\, April 25th\, followed by dinner. The retreat ends on Sunday\, April 28th after lunch by 2 pm. If you are flying in\, the airport in Tampa is quite close and the Franciscan Center is easy to get to. \nThe theme of this year’s retreat is “Living the Path of the True Person of No Rank.” We’ll have longer sitting periods as well as sessions of Zen Dialogue and possibly other exercises. Cost is $650 for a single room\, which includes 8 meals\, lodging and teaching. Double rooms are $635 per person (you need 2 people for this option). This retreat is open to all meditators of any level of proficiency. Beginners are also welcome\, but if you are a beginner\, please contact us in advance so we can fill you in as to what the program will entail. \nPlease decide early and pay a deposit of $300 to hold a spot. Deadline is February 29th and the balance is due April 1st.
