Daylong Group Koan Workshop & Retreat w/ Roshi Al Rapaport

For centuries, Zen koans have served as an intimate method for teachers to assess their students’ comprehension. In this workshop, we will delve into the application of koans as a means for group discussion and practice. With over two decades of experience in leading such sessions globally, Roshi Al Rapaport has discovered their immense value for practitioners of all levels. Rather than fixating on a definitive answer to each koan, the group will collectively explore the unique and collective responses that these koans evoke. No prior experience with koan practice is required to join this workshop.
